Scientific writing and translation should be of the same excellent standard that one would expect from high quality research in a scientific laboratory. My university studies of biochemistry and translation form the basis for excellent results.
Final rates are determined on a case-by-case basis. I charge workshops as daily rates.
My extensive experience in writing abstracts, publications and grant proposals could greatly help you in writing yours. I also offer help with writing White Papers for complex matters (in different languages). Rate calculation is made by the hour and depends on the topic of the text and in which language the text was written.
Nearly every format (doc, xls, ppt, pdf, txt, inx, html) is possible, including electronic media, e.g. webpages. Translation, Reviewing, Editing by at least two experienced translators. The translation will read better than the original.
I give workshops for scientific writing. Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin are among my regular clients. Researchers from different academic backgrounds learn to write convincing introductions, discussions and abstracts. Emphasis is placed on writing conventions, argument structure and expression. Examples and practical exercises enrich the two- or more-day workshops. Groups have a maximum of 15 participants.
I have a strong scientific background and consider myself an expert on scientific texts, including those in the fields of medicine and pharmacology. Further studies on literature, art and sociology enhanced my background so that I can deliver the “between the lines” meanings that are particularly important in non-technical texts.
